Ethan Update

Ethan's platelets are down to 11,000 again this morning. He will be recieving the third treatment today. It still has not been 48 hours from the first treatment so this may just be a slow process. It is taking alot out of Philip and I, so please pray for our strength. I will be discharged from Baptist any minute now, so it is going to be a long day.

Thanks to you all for your love and support!
-BB

P.S. Comments of encouragement really do help, so please feel free to comment away:)

Bridgette--
You, Philip and baby Ethan are all in my thoughts and prayers. I hope today is the day when the treatment starts taking effect and turns things around. Just know that you are surrounded by a circle of love and prayers.

I've been praying for strength for you and Philip, wisdom for the doctors and God's mercy for little Ethan. Please let us know if there is anything we can do (feed the dogs, etc.).

We are with you in constant prayer-"But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end: they are new EVERY morning; great is your faithfulness. 'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in him.'" Lamentations 3:21-24. We love you!!

Philip & Bridgette, we are constantly praying for little Ethan's healing. Take comfort in knowing that people from California to New York and everywhere in between are reading your blog and praying for all 3 of you. I look forward to holding Ethan, spoiling him and bragging about how cute he is (like all grandmas do). I love y'all so much.
